Captured from a drone, this angle gives a fresh, unique take on Warkworth Castle, showing off both its majesty and its place within the surrounding landscape.
The Location and Setup
Warkworth Castle has always been a staple in my photography, but on this particular day, I wanted to capture it from a completely different angle. The snow had freshly covered the ground, and I knew this was a rare moment where the landscape would offer something extraordinary. Using the drone, I flew high above the castle, allowing me to capture its imposing structure in the context of its environment. The clouds in the distance were beginning to form, adding drama to the scene, and I knew I had to work quickly before the weather shifted.
